The play "Boy Chicheyi" was performed of the 110th anniversary of the outstanding playwright Ilyas Efendiyev.
On May 20, 2024, the play "Boy Çiçekyi" by the Shusha State Musical Drama Theater was performed under the organization of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan. The play was performed on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the outstanding writer-playwright Ilyas Efendiyev.
Before the play, the executive secretary of the Union, Aida Gafarova, greeted the guests. She noted: "The play "Boy Çiçekyi" performed today is presented on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the outstanding writer, playwright Ilyas Efendiyev. Ilyas Efendiyev has given our national theater many excellent artistic pearls. His creativity has always been met with interest, loved and is still loved today."
Then Aida Gafarova gave the floor to director, People's Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Marahim Farzaibayova to talk in more detail about the rich creativity of the outstanding playwright. Marahim Farzaibayov spoke about the creative path of Ilyas Efendiyev and the excellent works he gave to our stage.
After the speech, the floor was given to the actors of the Shusha Theater. After the performance "Boy Chicheyi", which was met with great interest and applause, the director, Honored Artist Logman Karimov, was awarded the Order of Honor of the Union for the successful production, and the participants - Honored Artist Nazir Rustamov (Hasanzade), Honored Artist Azad Mammadov (Faraj), actresses Zahra Salayeva (Nargila) and Pustakhanim Zeynalova - for their successful performances.
