On November 2-5, 2021, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan will hold a festival of performances "VICTORIOUS AZERBAIJAN", dedicated to the anniversary of our glorious Victory in the 44-day Patriotic War.
On April 12-13, 2019, the Ministry of Culture of the Azerbaijan Republic, Union of Theatre Workers of Azerbaijan and the Baku Children's Theatre organized the festival “A Year of Nasimi –A Language of Nasimi”, dedicated to the 650thanniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet Imadaddin Nasimi.
On the 7th, 8th, 9th days of the theatre festival “Filling the empty space”, there were shownthe performances “Lightning of Love”, “Mankurt”, “Death of actor”, “Doublet”, “I live as I like”and “Counting game”. The play “Lightning of Love” was shown on 7 March at 15.00. The performance based on the play “One Night's Tale” by playwright Rovshan Agayev and staged in the comedy genre by Intigam Soltan, Honoured Artist of Azerbaijan, the Artistic Director of Children’s Theatre. The performance was showed on the main stage of the Union of Theatre Workers of Azerbaijan.
The festival “Filling of the empty space” continues.
On the 5thand 6thdays of the festival, there were shown performances “Dark Game”, “Vizier of the Lankaran Khan”, “Rhinoceros Horn” and “In Search of Myself”.
The festival “Filling the empty space”, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Azerbaijan Republic and the Union of Theatre Workers of Azerbaijan, continues.
On the 3rdand 4th days of the festival, the performances “In the Open Sea”, “The Black Man”, “Heavenly” and “No One to Forget” were shown.
On 1 March, 2019, with the organization of Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan Republic and Union of Theatre Workers of Azerbaijan, there was launched 2ndFestival of Experimental Performances “Filling the empty space”, dedicated to the memory of a prominent director Vagif Ibrahimoglu. The festival, which will be held in different places, will be attended by 10 theatre companies with 18 performances.
In the direction of fulfilling the tasks outlined in the Order of the President of Azerbaijan Republic, dated 26 January, 2015, the Union of Theatre Workers, in conjunction with the Baku Children’s Theatre, held a mini-festival “Our Theatre-2” on 11-14 March, 2015on Mustafa Mardanov stage of Theatre Studio“Zafar”.
